Our vehicle restoration work falls into two primary categories:
- “Let’s get this car running” – Business at Seyfer Specialties is booming as more and more people are deciding to take their nearly forgotten old cars out of the garage, storage or even the back yard so they can take them out on the road again. We do this using original parts and systems where possible and we’re starting to do our own fabrication for pieces we can’t find.
- “Let’s turn this into something special” – We also take classic-era cars and make them far more than roadworthy, delivering to our customer a hot rod or muscle car that integrates newer systems and features that significantly enhance performance.
In both cases, we work strictly with the systems under the hood and chassis. It’s very rare that shops doing complete automotive restoration or hot rod transformations are able to exceptional work in all areas of the job – mechanics, aesthetics and more. That’s why we’ve chosen to stick with and excel at what we do best, namely maintaining, restoring and upgrading these and other systems:

Our team is second to none. Some have been in the business so long they were working on these cars when they were nearly current models! As a result, we tend to take a little more thoughtful and methodical approach and pay more attention to detail than many in this business. We dig a little deeper to make sure we understand our customers’ goals and preferences on these often-once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. Each build receives a personal touch.
